I am seeking a platform, or an ap, that will do the following:

1. Monitor market(s); if X happens, execute
2. Continue monitoring X1 if Y happens, liquidate X1; Y is a rolling value based off of last price
3. Read in parameters for exec/liq/tickers from a fixed table

Is this what smartquant is all about????

Yes, but you should program your logic yourself in C# in OpenQuant IDE.

Thanks Anton. So it seems what SmartQuant brings to the table is the communication interfaces between the brokerage and the user. The user then develops his own communications between SmartQuant and his ap. Is that correct?

Are you a developer?

I believe that OpenQuant is a bit more than kjust a communication interface.

Have you looked through the documentation page?

http://www.smartquant.com/doc.php

You can even sit back and watch a couple of videos if it's too boring for you to read...

Regards,
Anton
