I think, I saw some sample code on how to create a custom chart with custom data in OQ which pops up as a seperate form. Is this possible?
Thanks, bill

I was searching the forum for hours, and then realised that there's a script samples. Sorry lads.
One thing though, I cannot see any logic behind the Divide method.
How would I let's say show two different charts in one window using the Divide method?

Hi,

I think we forgot to add Canvas.cd(padNumber) method that allows to navigate between pads. Will do in the next update.

Basically you call

Canvas.Divide(1, 2);

to divide Canvas into two pads and then

Canvas.cd(1);

Canvas.Add(series1);

Canvas.cd(2);

Canvas.Add(series2);

Anton

Hi Anton,

When I add a BarSeries on a canvas, after Run(), I can right click on the BarSeries and get a properties window.

Of course I want to set these BarSeries properties programmatically. I can't find support for this on the forum or documentation.

Can you help me?

Thanks,
Rob.

Hi Rob,

actually you see properties of data series from underlying framework and not OpenQuant API series. If you want more details, I can tell you but basically the answer is no, it's not possible to change these properties programmatically.

Anton

Dear Anton, for the next release could you please correct the label for the Sortino Ratio? It should read Sortino and not Sotrino...
It's a little detail...
Keep up the good work!

Anton ,
Can you please add Canvas.cd(padNumber) method that allows to navigate between pads. In OQ 3.1.2 it is still not there.
Thanks
Roedies
