I have a user data provider which do not support placing orders. Is there a way to exclude this data provider from Execution subtree?

Hi,

not really, since UserProvider is derived from both market data and execution providers for simplicity.

We can add an option though (IsMarketDataProvider, IsExecutionProvider) and check it in OQ but do you think it would really be useful?

Regards,
Anton

IMHO this may be useful to keep OQ UI integrity in good shape. This is not really necessary for the provider plugin.

I think you can add the capability flags set retrieval from the plugin in next OQ release.
