I managed to get Quotes up and running for TT API which, altho simple, is a great breakthrough for us. The next step is order entry through TT API. We managed to enter orders on TTSIM but not on any of the exchange servers such as Eurex. It seems that the issue is that when orders are being entered they do not have an account number attached to them. TTSIM is much more forgiving when it comes to entering orders with incomplete information, whereas production enviroments will more likely through an error on the exchange level. So at the moment we can only view quotes. We would like to have the ability to enter orders and view the market depth/order book.

Kind Regards,

Mike

Mike,

after discussing this issue with TT suppoprt we are adding "Cusomer" field in TT XTAPI provider. This will allow you to trade in production environment. There will be an update soon.

Anton

Anton,

I put the relevant information into the Customer field and I get the same error message that I recieved before (In the TT Audit Trail): "Order restrict code |.| is not a valid TT code."

Do you know what this error message means?

Mike

Mike,

TT say:

I am not receiving this error. Make sure the Customer settings are identical.

This is usually, according to our XTAPI team, a mismatch in account settings

=====

Could you check your account / customer settings? I see Account and Customer fields in TT X_Trader. Perhaps you entered Account in QD instead of Customer?

Regards,
Anton

I get similar order message while submit order from SmartQuant to TT. THere is no problem to view quote from TT as the demo video shows. However, whenever I submit an order, it gives the error message
Invalide order restriction". I double checked the customer/account settings in both TT and Smartquant, It seems that I am using the right one. I wonder how I can solve this problem.

John & Mike,

this is the latest from TT:

"Newest [QD] version corrects the cancel issue from order manager. Also, I have tested LIM, STOP, SL orders as well as Cancel Replace. All seems to be fine."

"[Customers] are still having problems sending production orders. I will look into it as I am not having any issues at all"

Let's wait till Monday. We can also send our XTAPI interface code to TT support for review.

Regards,
Anton

The problem apparently with the order ristriction. In your program you probably are not setting the OrderRistriction right..
