Alexei, I just tracked down a problem that I don't know if you know about, and it is still a problem in OpenQuant 3.9.2.

You can of course have Instruments in the InstrumentManager with an embedded period in the name, for example "C.N". But if you try to import daily bar data from a file named "C.N.Daily.csv", and specify that the symbol should come from the filename, the symbol created is truncated after the period. The import is processed without apparent errors, but the data is imported into the instrument "C" instead of "C.N", merging the bars into a garbage data series. The bug is clearly in the filename parsing of data import from csv files.

Any chance you could fix?

Thanks
