Hello, I am importing continuous data into SmartQuant. As such, under properties > derivatives, it should not ask for put/call or strike price. Is this common?

Hi,

I believe I've replied in the email. Here is a copy

These properties are common for all instrument types (OQ has a generic Instrument class). Thus you can see for example strike property even if you deal with a stock.

You can use something like

Instrument instrument = InstrumentManager.Instruments[“MSFT”];

instrument.TickSize = 100;

instrument.Save();

In order to change/save these properties programmatically.

Regards,
Anton
