 Post subject: newbie, set up chart

just downloaded trial. can get live quotes in quote monitor through IB. when I open a chart, I only get old historical data. how do I get live real time chart data? thanks.

Please take into account that OpenQuant is not a charting software, it's a strategy development software, so that quote window is there just to let you check the quality of real time market data, connectivity issues, etc.

You will have a much nicer chart when you run a strategy in OpenQuant (with indicators, transactions, etc.).
