I don't see anything related to Fibo Retracement in OQ API? Anyone has any idea on how to incorporate it into OQ strategies? Many thanks!

Hi,

We don't support it in the current version of OQ.

Though you can calculate Fib levels in your strategy code, put values in series and draw these series in the BarChart.

Sergey.

I've thought about this but not really put effort into coding it. I would suggest using a ZigZag indicator (find one that doesnt use look ahead!) to decompose the price movements into straight-line movements, then for each direction change it is possible to find a 0.618 retracement or similar.

Let me know if you make any progress with this as I'd be interested to hear about it!

FYI. You can search this forum for ZigZag. There are examples with the source code. Check out this one viewtopic.php?f=44&t=5825&hilit=zigzag

Anton
